The online purchasing option is there for your convenience. If you would prefer to secure your coverage over the phone, you can certainly do that; however, you will need to be near your email to confirm the terms and conditions of the policy and to input your payment information.
You can cancel your special event liability policy by clicking the “MANAGE POLICY” button in your policy email. Or you can go to the Pricing Calculator on our homepage and click on “MANAGE POLICY”. Once you log in, click on “Make a Change” and follow the prompts to cancel your coverage. All policy cancellations must be made at least 1 day prior to the scheduled event start date. You will receive a refund less the policy fee, as explained when binding coverage. Please note that event cancellation policies are Non-Cancellable.

No, event hosts cannot add their vendors as an additional insured. Vendors require their own insurance policies, separate from the event holder. Therefore, we suggest signing a “hold harmless” agreement with your vendors so that you are not legally responsible for any of their mishaps. In addition, you can consult a licensed attorney for advice in this regard.
For Special Event Liability, the pricing is not based on whether the event is inside or outside.
For Event Cancellation, the pricing is based on whether the event is inside or outside.
No, our program does not allow us to cover overnight events.
Waiver of Subrogation waives the right of recovery against the venue owner in regards to damages or injuries. You do not need to add this to a policy unless required by your venue.
Primary and Non-Contributory wording states that the insured’s policy will act as the only policy to pay for a claim until this policy has reached the limit. If the claim reaches the limit on this policy, then the venue’s primary policy will kick in. You do not need to add this to a policy unless required by your venue.
There is no limit on how many additional insureds you can add to your policy; however, additional insureds must be a venue manager and/or municipality. For Vendor Liability Insurance, you can add the event host/organizer.
